Lexus's flagship LX SUV has been redesigned for 2022, sporting an upgraded interior and riding on a modernized platform and powered by a twin-turbocharged engine. The Land Rover is a legendary brand. Land Rover says that this car has a distinct identity due to it offering "enhanced levels of personalization" and being the first Land Rover model to wear the ceramic SV roundel.

The new 2022 Range Rover looks rather like a concept-car version of the outgoing Range Rover, particularly from the front, where it exhibits a smooth, bumper-less rendition of that all-too-familiar face. The Land Rover comes with the SV Serenity, the Atlas Silver accents are limited to the grille, while all others get changed to Corinthian Bronze, including the lettering. You can also have a Corinthian Bronze contrast roof and optional forged 23-inch diamond-turned Dark Grey Gloss directional alloy wheels with Corinthian Bronze inserts.

Specifically, the model 2022 Lexus LX on display here is based on the new F Sport trim, which is available for the LX for the first time. A massive spindle grille at the front and a wide LED light bar at the rear represent the main changes on the outside compared to the LC, along with more generous use of chrome. Unique styling touches for the F Sport include exclusive 22-inch forged aluminum wheels.

Inside, The 2022 Range Rover rectangular perforation further differentiates this model, while interior ceramic elements with the SV Intrepid design theme are finished in Black Satin. The new Range Rover interior features a 13.1-inch central touchscreen that runs JLR's Pivi Pro operating system, which adds haptic feedback and includes Amazon Alexa integration as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Inside, The new 2022 Lexus LX receives a modern and luxurious makeover, with a wide center console between the front seats that creates a cozy cockpit environment. Quilted leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped dashboard, wood trim, and smoked-chrome accents gives the LX a high-end appearance and luxe ambiance. A 12.3-inch touchscreen and a seven-inch lower screen come as standard. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both expected to be standard and could even be offered with wireless connectivity.

The 2022 Range Rover, The electronically controlled active anti-roll bars help keep the ride comfortable, too. Land Rover says they react more quickly than a hydraulic layout. The system can apply up to 1,033 pound-feet (1,400 Newton-meters) of torque against the body. Buyers in Europe have lots of engine options, including two plug-in hybrids, three gas-fueled powerplants, and three diesel mills. Americans only get two powertrain options at launch. The plug-in-hybrid P440e making 434 hp (324 kW) joins the lineup in the US for the 2023 model year. A fully electric option is coming in 2024.

There are no surprises under the hood The new 2022 Lexus LX where the naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V8 engine is gone, replaced with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 shared with the Land Cruiser. It pumps out 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, thus bringing an improvement of 26 hp and 76 lb-ft over its predecessor. Output is channeled to the road through a ten-speed automatic transmission replacing the old eight-speed 'box. As with all three predecessors, the 2022 Lexus LX features "the golden ratio" of a 112-inch wheelbase, while the approach and departure angles have been carried over from the third-gen model. Useful off-road features include crawl and downhill assist control, not to mention an active height control with more positions than before.

In the US, deliveries of the 2022 Lexus LX600 will start in Q1 2022. Pricing has not been announced yet, but expect it cost more than the outgoing model, which starts at $86,930. For The 2022 Range Rover starts at $92,000, which is one of the highest base prices in the luxury large SUV class. Most Range Rover models retail for more than $100,000, with the most powerful V8 variant starting at around $180,000.
