The new ë-C4 X challenges the traditional definitions of compact car bodies and offers customers something very special: a crossover design that combines the elegant silhouette of a hatchback with the modern dynamics of an SUV and the spaciousness of a four-door. With a length of 4,600 mm, the ë-C4 X ranks in the Citroën model range between the C4 (4,360 mm) and the C5 X (4,800 mm). The wheelbase is the same as the ë-C4 at 2,670 mm. With a Cd value of 0.29, the aerodynamic efficiency has been optimized thanks to the fast, crisp roofline, which has a positive effect on the electric range.

The high and wide bonnet is emphasized with concave indentations and the chrome-plated double chevron extends over the entire width of the vehicle front. It is continued on both sides by the V-shaped Citroën LED Vision headlights arranged in two rows. These not only offer maximum visibility, they are also an expression of the high-tech DNA of the model.

There are seven body colors to choose from: Elixir Red, Perla Nera Black, Platinium Gray, Sand Beige, Polar White, Steel Gray and Mother of Pearl White. The three color packages "Glossy Black", "Glossy Silver" and "Anodised Deep Red" offer individual design options, with colored decorative borders of the air bump and the fog lights. There are also three equipment levels, from the entry-level Feel Pack to the top Shine and Shine Pack versions.

The unique architecture of the ë-C4 X creates a particularly large luggage compartment with a usable volume of 510 liters with a completely separate luggage compartment. While the roofline is fluid front to rear, hinges below the rear window allow the boot lid to open wide and high for easy access. In the trunk itself, a flat floor offers a maximum width between the wheel arches of 1,010mm and a maximum length of 1,079mm. Large suitcases and pieces of luggage can be easily lifted in and out of the trunk. There is space under the boot floor for transporting additional items and for accommodating the charging cables. The rear seat backs can also be folded forward to create additional storage space,

Citroën has paid particular attention to maximizing storage space beyond the large trunk and into the passenger compartment of the new ë-C4 X. Up to 16 open or closed compartments can offer a total storage volume of 39 liters and all have been designed to be practical and easy to use on a daily basis.

Depending on the version and equipment, up to 20 modern driver assistance systems are available in the new ë-C4 X to increase safety when driving, including Active Emergency Brake Assist, Highway Driver Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and cruise control with Stop & Go function . In addition, the model offers technologies to improve comfort and reduce stress levels, such as the color head-up display, the reversing camera with Top Rear Vision and the Proximity Keyless system.

The new ë-C4 X takes connectivity and infotainment to a new level as it comes equipped with the all-new MyCitroën Drive Plus infotainment interface, recently introduced on the flagship C5 X. This new user interface is coupled to a 10" HD screen in the ë-C4 X and can be fully customized using a system of widgets. The new interface has natural speech recognition, which is activated with the command "Hello Citroën" and answers questions and executes voice commands.
