NEW BMW iX4: Why I’d Pay $5,000 More Than The iX3

Every BMW iX4 comes with the M Sport package as standard. It has a sloping roofline and the same Neue Klasse tech as the iX3, and it costs about $5,000 more. In this walkaround of the iX4 50 xDrive, I test the trunk (yes, I fit inside at 6'2"), check rear headroom and knee room, and explain why I’d still pick it over the iX3.

You give up some cargo height and a little rear headroom compared to the iX3. If you don’t need that practicality, the iX4 is the better-looking car and the one that stands out in a sea of SUVs.
