2027 BMW M760 xDrive First Look: The V8 Returns To The 7 Series

2026/10/18

The all-new 2027 BMW M760 xDrive brings V8 power back to the 7 Series. Its S68 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 563 hp in the US (570 PS in Europe) and 553 lb-ft of torque, good for 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

In this first look, we walk around the new M Performance flagship and show you everything you won't find on a regular 7 Series: the M-specific kidney grille, smoked headlights, new mirror caps, a piano black rear lip spoiler, blacked-out taillights, a unique rear diffuser, quad exhaust pipes and an M badge on the Hofmeister kink. This car wears a two-tone Tanzanite Blue metallic over Frozen Tanzanite Blue finish, paired with a cashmere and gray interior, carbon fiber trim and the M Sport Pro steering wheel with its red 12 o'clock marker.

We also pop the hood for what we believe is the first look anywhere at the M760's engine bay, with its new engine cover and extra chassis bracing.
