NEW Range Rover Sport Electric Review – We've DRIVEN It!
We've driven the new Range Rover Sport Electric! It's the most powerful Range Rover ever, with 543bhp from its two electric motors – and it has an official range of up to 375 miles. Better still, it offers exactly the same practicality as the regular Sport. But is this luxury electric SUV really worth its £110k starting price? In this review, we take an early drive of the Range Rover Sport EV to find out everything you need to know.
You'll find out:
• Power & performance: 543bhp and 627lb ft of torque – the most of any Range Rover – and 0-60mph in 4.3sec
• Range & charging: a 118.1kWh usable battery, a 350-mile real-world claim, 325kW rapid charging for a 10-80% top-up in around 22min
• Design: a blanked-off grille, new aero wheels with EV centre caps, no exhausts, a redesigned rear diffuser and a completely flat underfloor
• Interior & tech: a 13.1-inch touchscreen, 13.7-inch driver display and a head-up display
• Practicality: identical passenger and boot space to the regular Range Rover Sport, 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats and air suspension that lowers the rear for loading
• On the road: comfort and dynamic modes, tight body control, and three levels of regenerative braking including a one-pedal mode
• Off-road: the same modes and wading depth as the petrol car – and yes, we drove it through an Airbus A320
• Prices & trims: Dynamic SE from £109,810, Autobiography at around £123,000 and the limited-run First Edition at £126,000
