In this video, we reveal everything you need to know about the 2027 Mercedes GLA Electric. We explore its new exterior dimensions – it’s lower and wider, and features a 61mm longer wheelbase for extra rear seat space.
We also take a closer look at the striking new front grille packed with 600 animated LEDs, the multi-beam headlights with star-shaped daytime running lights, and the restyled rear end complete with a lightbar.
The new GLA range will kick off with the GLA 200, moving up to the longer-range GLA 250+ and topping out with the dual-motor all-wheel-drive GLA 350 4MATIC. We also explain why the new GLA will eventually be offered with a 1.5-litre 48V mild-hybrid petrol engine, too.
Inside, we experience the GLA's tech-focused interior featuring an infotainment screen for the front passenger. Finally, we put the GLA's practicality to the test by checking out rear legroom, the 410-litre main boot and the huge 107-litre front boot ("aka" frunk) under the bonnet.
