How To Perform a Central Information Display Reset with OS 8.5 | BMW How-To

Your BMW is the pinnacle of technology and innovation. But, just like your computer or smartphone, sometimes the software needs a reset to fix a small glitch or software issue.

Don't worry, we've got you covered. Here's how to perform a Central Information Display reset in just a few easy steps.

With the vehicle turned on, press and hold the volume wheels for 70 seconds. Once the screen goes black, you can release the wheel. The screen will cycle 3 times and complete a full reset.

And that's it! Your CID is now reset and ready to perform optimally.
