Ferrari 849 Testarossa | Complex car, simply great to drive | Autocar

The new Ferrari 849 Testarossa is a follow-up to the SF90 plug-in hybrid supercar (hypercar?).

With 1036bhp (a nice round 1050 metric horsepower) from a 4.0-litre V8 engine and three electric motors it’s an incredibly complex car.

But there’s a difference between complexity and complication, say Ferrari’s top engineers. They’d like this tech-heavy car to actually feel very natural to drive.

That wasn’t always the case with the SF90, we found. But join Matt Prior as he tests the 849 Testarossa on track and road to see if Ferrari has cracked the code this time around with its £400,000-plus sports coupe.
