● The McMurtry Automotive Spéirling electric fan hypercar set an astonishing 39.08-second record up the Goodwood Hillclimb at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, a record that still stands unbeaten. Watch one of the fastest cars we have ever recorded in action driven by former F1 driver Max Chilton.

The Spéirling is moved by two electric motors placed inside a specially designed "e-axle", releasing the power only on the rear wheels. Being an under 1,000 kg vehicle and having a 1,000 bhp/tonne ratio plus the instant downforce, the McMurtry Spéirling is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 1.5 seconds. It has a track range of 25 minutes when running at GT4 race-car pace, and a road range of over 300 miles for the road-legal Spéirling Pure.
