What’s New

Compared to the original Cullinan, the updated 2025 Cullinan Series II features a slate of changes. These include:

Updated front fascia with revised headlights, air vents, and an illuminated grille
Rear fascia with larger exhaust outlets
Available 23-inch wheels milled from aluminum billet
Revised dashboard with width-spanning glass panel showcasing bespoke artistic motifs
Modernized infotainment system
Interior clock accompanied by Spirit of Ecstasy figurine
Expanded paint, trim, and upholstery choices

What We Think

This is an SUV like no other. Embodying Rolls-Royce's unwavering dedication to maximum luxury in every regard, the Cullinan is majestic in many capacities. It rides as smooth as a magic carpet and seems as quiet as the vacuum of space. The V-12 pours out power in a way that makes it feel not so much like an engine, but more like a force of nature, a fountain of inertia.

Artistic craftsmanship and impeccable quality further the Cullinan’s magnificence. Everything that can be seen and touched is designed and built to the highest possible extent. Rolls-Royce engineers go to astounding lengths to ensure perfection—or at least as close to that as can be to substantiate the vehicle’s also-astounding price tag.

With its recent update, the 2025 Cullinan gets a new face that doesn’t seem quite as elegant or understated as how it looked before. Even so, that won’t change how sublime it is to ride in or drive this opulent automobile.

What Engine Is in the 2025 Cullinan?

As emissions regulations become stricter, V-12 engines are becoming rarer. But the Cullinan retains such an engine, perpetuating Rolls-Royce's storied 12-cylinder tradition. The Cullinan’s engine is a twin-turbocharged 6.8-liter (badged “6.75 litre”) V-12 that whirrs out 563 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque as standard, or 600 hp and 664 lb-ft in Black Badge specification. All that thrust is sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission to standard AWD. In MotorTrend testing, a Cullinan Black Badge propelled itself from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. Fuel economy of 12/19 mpg city/highway might not bother oil barons and other well-heeled Cullinan buyers.
