Celebrating the Chevrolet Corvair | FYI

The 1960s was the heyday of thirsty Detroit V8 muscle cars. Even so, the Big Three were worried about the rising tide of fuel-efficient imports like the Volkswagen Beetle and Renault Dauphine. General Motors hoped to stem that influx with the rear-engined Chevrolet Corvair; over 1.8 million were sold, and they retain a passionate following today. Well, our Stephanie Hart wanted to experience that passion first hand.
