The Peugeot 2008 isn't the most affordable small SUV on the market, but can it justify its premium price position?
Contributing journalist, Helen Frost, spent some time in the GT grade (as well as the top-spec GT Sport) recently, and she found that there are plenty of things that set the 2008 SUV apart from its rivals, such as the Skoda Kamiq, Audi Q2 and VW T-Roc.
It has exceptional design inside and out, and certainly looks like it should cost as much as it does (GT spec is $43,497 plus on-road costs and extras), but there are some items missing from the standard equipment list that left Helen pondering about this car. Watch for more detail, but they include safety gear that should be standard in 2022 and beyond.
But with a pretty practical cabin, a decent boot and delightful driving manners, some buyers will be able to overlook a couple of shortcomings. But should they? Watch to find out Helen's thoughts!
