Dan Ticktum takes a stunning last-lap victory under the lights in Tokyo his first win of the season as the championship picture is thrown wide open.

Pole-sitter Jake Dennis led early before a dramatic strategy race unfolded in the wet, ending with Ticktum regaining the lead in the closing laps to deny Dennis and Nick Cassidy. Championship leader Pascal Wehrlein retired after contact with António Félix da Costa, reshaping the title fight with just three races to go.
