How It’s Made: Volkswagen ID.BUZZ - Full Production Process
70 years of the Volkswagen Hanover plant
On March 8, 1956, the first Transporters rolled off the production line at the Volkswagen plant in Hanover-Stöcken. The site, which was built from scratch in just one year in 1955, became the largest production hall in Europe at the time and a symbol of German industrial history. Today, Hanover is the heart of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand – and a key location for the technological transformation towards electrified, digitalized, and, in the future, autonomous mobility.
