● Check out this epic onboard footage in the 1995 BMW M3 E36 STC 95/020 IMSA racecar with Scooter Gabel at the 2025 Imola Classic by Peter Auto in the Endurance Racing Legends.
The car was purchased by Prototype Technology Group (PTG) in 1997 as a rolling chassis and converted to widebody IMSA GT specification with a 6-cylinder engine. At the end of 2000 the car was sold to Marcus Motorsports. Following developments to the suspension, chassis and aero, and a more powerful 3.4l engine, the car would race in the 2002 and 2003 GrandAm series.
