The new DS 4 is a car that's very difficult to pigeon-hole. One thing that's certain about it is the brand's luxury aspirations, so you might see it as a rival for the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series or Mercedes A-Class. However, given its slightly unconventional part-hatchback-part-SUV shape and stance, you might also see it as a rival for SUVs from the same brands, such as the Q3, X2 or GLA.
